This website, www.calycogenics.com, is operated by Calycogenics ("we", "us"). We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect
Contact and audit forms: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in and your message. Our enquiry form saves what you have typed while you are filling it in, so we can follow up if you leave before pressing send.
Chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat on this website. If you type an email address or phone number into the chat, we save it with your conversation so we can reply.
Email preferences: if you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep your email address and the date, so we do not contact you again.
Website usage: the pages you visit and the links and buttons you click on this site. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not store your IP address with this data.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or audit you asked for, and provide services you have engaged us for.
To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the website.
To honour your choice not to receive emails from us.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel, which hosts the website; MongoDB Atlas, where form, chat and preference data is stored; and Groq, which generates the chat assistant’s replies from the messages you send it. Some of these providers may process data outside India.
When we build systems for clients, such as WhatsApp lead automation, those systems run on the client’s own accounts, and the client is responsible for the data of their own customers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and chat conversations are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Unsubscribe records are kept for as long as needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request or raise a grievance, write to info@calycogenics.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data is sent to and from this website over HTTPS, and access to stored data is restricted to authorised people. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
