The Challenge
Health products carry a higher burden than most software. People share sensitive information, so accounts and data handling must be secure by default, and every screen has to feel calm rather than alarming.
AlphaCare needed an AI health companion that felt supportive and trustworthy to a non-technical person, while meeting the standards its clinical team set for privacy and accuracy.
Our Approach
We started with the data: what is collected, where it is stored, who can reach it, and how long it is kept. Accounts, authentication, and access control were designed before any feature work began.
The interface was then designed for a person who may be worried. Plain language, one question at a time, clear next steps, and no diagnostic claims the product cannot support. The AI assists and explains; it does not replace clinical judgement.
